How to Install a 131381 Hose

This article will explain how to replace a faucet hose.

Preparation: The water supply shut off valves must be turned off- see article How to Turn Off the Water Supply to the Faucet.

The 131381 hose that you were sent may look slightly different than your original hose. While they look different they are interchangeable. The hose connection to the faucet body changed will be either brass or non-metallic material, and the hose diameter has changed slightly.

Before disconnecting the hose from the faucet body, you will need to identify which of the two connection types the faucet uses: a Double Quick Connect that was used from 2007-2010 or an Integrated Single Quick Connect that was released in 2010. To locate your connection, begin by going under the sink and locating the faucet hose. Next follow the hose up to where it connects to the faucet body. Compare your connection type with the chart below.
