One Handle Wall Mount Tub Filler: Handle Assembly

Details explaining how the handle assembly is removed/assembled on a Single Handle Wall Mount Roman Tub faucet

Preparation:

Moen Wall Mount tub fillers use two different handle mechanism styles. In order to service your tub filler, you will need to determine which handle mechanism style is used. To identify the style, the first step will be to remove the handle, for more information move to "Determine the Handle Mechanism Style" below.

Determine the Handle Mechanism Style

Begin by shutting the water off to the system. Using a 3/32" hex wrench, loosen the handle screw until the handle slides off. Once the handle has been removed, compare your system to the images below to determine which handle mechanism style you are working with.
