Roman Tub Handle Knob: Flat Cap (After 2011)

There are multiple styles of handle assemblies used on Roman Tub faucets. Determining which one you are working with will require removing the handle and identifying your handle mechanism. If these requirements have not yet been confirmed, see Roman Tub Deck Mount: Lever or Roman Tub Deck Mount: Knob for details at solutions.moen.com.

Preparation: The water supply shut off valves must be turned off- see article How to Turn Off the Water Supply to the Faucet.

Confirm knob style:

Gently pry the cap out of the knob. If you see a Phillips screw, see article titled: Roman Tub Handle Knob: Flat Cap (Prior to 2011)
