Disassembly:

  1. Gently pry the cap (#1) off.
  2. Unthread the Phillips screw (#2) and remove.
  3. Lift the handle lever (#3) off.
  4. Unthread the base of the handle hub (#4).

To replace the cartridge see, 1224 Cartridge: Two Handle 4" Mini Wide Spread Bathroom Faucets.

Assembly:

  1. Thread the base of the handle hub (#3) on top of the faucet.
  2. The top of the cartridge stem (#5) matches the profile inside the handle lever (#3). Use pliers to adjust the cartridge stem if needed so that the handle lever (#3) will be in the off position. Set the handle lever (#3) on top of the cartridge (#5). If you are unable to grab the cartridge stem with the pliers, you may need to remove the handle hub (#4).inside of handle.png
  3. Thread and tighten the Phillips screw (#2).
  4. Push the cap (#1) back in the top of the handle.
