Water System Shutoff

What does Water System Shutoff mean?

Water System Shutoff is a critical alert related to Flo automatically shutting off your water as a precautionary measure because Flo detected an underlying critical alert, and you have not responded to the underlying critical alert. These underlying critical alerts can be triggered by Fast Water Flow, High Water Usage, Extended Water Use, Unusual Flow Rate, Unusual Event Duration, Unusual Activity, and Unusual Usage.

For example, if you receive an Extended Water Use alert (related to water running consistently for a higher than normal period of time), and do not reply to the alert within 5 minutes, Flo may automatically shut off your water as a precautionary measure. The event will be recorded in the Activity Log.
