Moenstone Sink Care and Cleaning

MoenStone® kitchen sinks are produced from a material that has a high resistance to staining, however, the easiest way to prevent stains is by prompt clean up of spills and other waste. The following chart illustrates our recommendations for maintaining the original appearance of your new MoenStone® kitchen sink.

Cleaning Instructions
Situation Recommended Cleaner Method of Application

Bleach (Fill the sink bowls with warm water. Add 1/2 cup bleach per bowl.) Let soak for 30 minutes. Drain and scrub with a nylon scrub pad or bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly.

DO NOT USE: Abrasive cleansers or materials; abrasive scrub pads; alkali cleaners such as ammonia; concentrated
solutions of chemical descaling agents; lacquer thinner; steel wool or soap filled steel wool scrub pads; undiluted bleach;
drain unblocking chemicals that recommend filling the sink with water. Do not pour paint or paint cleaning materials in sink.
AVOID: While MoenStone sinks have been shown to withstand temperatures of up to 535 °F, avoid prolonged contact
with hot pots and pans. These activities are potentially detrimental to your sink surface.
