Removal of the Handle and Dome

 1. Always turn your water supplies off before disassembling your faucet. With the supplies turned off, move your faucet’s handle to the “on” position to relieve pressure.

                   2. Insert the 3/32” Allen wrench into the hole on the handle on the side opposite the lever. Rotate the Allen wrench to unscrew the handle set screw. The screw does not need to be fully removed. Lift the handle off of the faucet and set aside.

Note: In some cases, accessing the hole in the handle might require loosening the faucet under the sink and rotating the body of the faucet.

Note: Some models may have a small round plug/cap covering the handle hole which will need to be removed before using the 3/32 Allen wrench

           3. Identify your dome style and then removing:

Threaded Dome

A low -profile ring with a silver stem sticking out of the middle,

Unscrew the dome to remove.

Slotted Dome

The handle slides out from a slot in the dome.

Remove this dome by rotating 90 degrees and pulling.

Tightening the Cartridge Nut

    4. Using the grey assembly tool (if available), crescent wrench or a 13/16” socket to tighten the cartridge nut until snug. Next turn an additional 90 degrees to fully secure the nut.

Reassembling the Handle

Threaded Dome

If you have this style of dome, move to step 5.

Slotted Dome

If you have this style of dome, move to step 9

  2. Screen Shot 2019-02-18 at 1.35.12 PM.pngSlide the handle back on a tighten the Allen screw.



    Turn the hot and cold water back on.

If you have the threaded dome, you are all done!

If you have the slotted dome, please move to step 9 on the next page.

  7. Push down on the cartridge stem. In addition, take note of the location of the two white plastic tabs on a white ring surrounding the valve body. This ring also has small tabs that must be in small notches in the black valve body.

Screen Shot 2019-02-18 at 1.39.08 PM.png  8. Slide the dome onto the valve body while aligning the two recessed cutouts on the inside of the dome with the two plastic tabs on the white ring. Then rotate the dome 90-degrees counterclockwise. Ensure that the slot in the dome is pointing downwards.

  2. Turn the hot and cold water back on.
