Freeze Protection

 These events indicate changes to the state of Freeze Protection on the Moen Smart Device.

Freeze Protection monitors the temperature at your Moen Smart Device. Events are generated for the following situations:

  •  The air temperature around the device is low enough to enable freeze protect when enabled.
  •  The air temperature around the device has returned to normal.
  •  Freeze protection is activate. Water will flow to prevent freezing. Using the device will turn off freeze detection.
  •  Freeze protection is deactivated. Water started freeze protection will stop flowing.
