14960 or 100255 Diverter Service Kit

Installation instructions for a kitchen faucet diverter kit 14960 or 100255.

Preparation:

The water supply shut off valves must be turned off- see article How to Turn Off the Water Supply to the Faucet.
Recommended Tools: 5/16" Bolt, Pliers

High-Arc Spout:

Disassembly:

High Arc

1. Loosen the Spout Hub (#2). Slide the Spout Hub (#2) up on Spout (#1) and pull straight up to remove the Spout & Spout Hub from Valve.

Low Arc

1. Unscrew the Spout Cap (#2) and Remove the Spout Cap (#2).

2. Insert the Bolt into the Old Diverter (#3). Grip the Bolt with pliers, rotate to loosen the Old Diverter (#3). Remove the Old Diverter (#3) and the Old O-ring.

Assembly:

Place the O-ring onto base of the Diverter (#3). Using the Bolt, insert the Diverter (#3) into Valve. Tighten the Diverter (#3) with the Bolt by hand.

High-Arc Spout

Replace the Spout (#1) & the Spout Hub (#2) onto Valve. Ensure the Spout is fully engaged. Tighten the Spout (#1) with the Spout Hub (#2)

Low Arc Spout:

Install the Spout Cap (#3) onto the Valve.
