177568 Electronic Box (2015-Present)

This guide will instruct you on how to replace the 177568 electronics box on your MotionSense: Dual Sensor Hands Free Faucet. The 177568 is built for the black control box and is used on product installed 2015-present.

Preparation:

Recommended Tools: Flathead screwdriver

Removing The Old Electronics Box

1. Unplug the black power cord and the data cable from the control box.                              remove cables.png

2. Carefully press the tab with a flathead screwdriver to swing open.

Use caution to prevent pulling wires connecting the electronic box to the control box.

4. Press the end of the tab to release the wire connector. Do this for both tabs. Pull the connectors away from the base.

Installing The New Electronics Box

1. Align the red mark on the tab with the red dot on the electronics box. Inset the connectors from the new control box into the base of the electronics box. Push each connector until it snaps into the base.

2. Insert the top of the electronics box into the control box. Swing closed until the tab locks in (Use caution to prevent pinching or damaging the wires).

3. Before connecting the battery holder or optional AC adapter with the power splitter, ensure that there are no objects are within 3" of the left side of the faucet. These could interfere with the start up process.

This step needs to be done is a specific order. Insert the data cable to the data port on the bottom on the control box. Ensure the cable is pushed all the way into the control box. Next, insert the battery pack or AC adaptor to the control box power port. Ensure the cable is pushed all the way to the control box.

4. Check to ensure the sensor(s) and the handle are working properly.
