Assembling an Adapter and Connector

This article will provide step-by-step instructions for attaching the connector to the adapter.

If installing a service kit P/N 93980 or 100429, the metal adapter and the black plastic connector are packaged as separate pieces. These two pieces must be combined for the faucet handle to operate properly.

Snap the black plastic connector over the horizontal bar at the bottom of the metal adapter. Make sure that the smaller hole (A) on the black plastic connector faces up and the larger hole (B) faces down (see Figure A Below).
