Erratic Signals: MotionSense (After 2015)

Loose cables can trigger an erratic signal to the faucet. To ensure the cables are installed tight and secure, we recommend removing the control box (this method will depend on how it was originally mounted). The data cable plug goes into a two-stage socket. It has three rubber O-rings (see Image 1) that can prevent the data cable from completely engaging fully into the control box causing an erratic signal. The round power cable must also be fully inserted into the socket. (Image 2 shows the length of the cables when fully engaged.)
