Faucet Hose-Retractable
There have been design improvements to Moen faucet hoses through the years which include changes to materials, lengths, and connection types. This means that not all hoses are not interchangeable, it is important to identify your faucet and the hose to insure you order the correct hose service kit. There are 3 options for identification:
- Original Documentation: If you have the Invoice/Receipt, Installation Sheet, or the box, they may contain the model number or product collection name. You can enter this information on Moen.com and open the product guide. At the bottom of the page, view the *Replacement Parts under Installation and Support to determine the hose service kit.
- Upload an Image of your Faucet: If you are able to take a picture of your faucet, the Faucet Finder will allow you to upload the image and will identify your model number and collection name. You can enter this information on Moen.com to view the *Replacement Parts under Installation and Support to determine the hose service kit.
- Visually Identify: If you have access to view both ends of the hose (where the hose connects to the spray wand above the deck and where it connects to the faucet under the deck), use the chart below to compare your hose with those listed.
*Some models will have used more than one hose. If this is the case, use the chart below to visually identify which of the hose options your faucet uses.
Follow the steps below to help identify your faucet hose.
Step 1: What type of faucet do you have?
Faucet hose lengths and styles vary between Pullout faucets and Pulldown faucets. They are unique to the faucet type and are not interchangeable. Here's a quick explanation of the difference between a Pullout and Pulldown faucet:
Pullout Faucet The spray wand on a Pullout faucet pulls upward or straight out toward you. |
Pulldown Faucet The spray wand on a Pulldown faucet pulls down toward the sink. |
Step 2: What type of faucet hose connection do you have?
How does the faucet hose connection attach to the faucet body under the sink? Follow the faucet hose down under the sink to where it attaches to the faucet body. The connection will look like one of the following:
Hose Connection | Image | Description | Hose Numbers | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Threaded Faucet HoseYears Used: 1991-2003 |
|
Male Threaded: The faucet would have used a faucet hose with one male threaded end that may be threaded onto a brass connector that would be threaded onto the metal faucet body. Female Threaded: The faucet would have used a faucet hose with one female threaded end that threads onto the metal faucet body. |

T Quick ConnectYears Used: 2022-Present |

Step 3: What does the faucet hose coupling look like?
A faucet hose coupling is a connector that is attached to the end of the faucet hose where it meets the spray wand. This allows the spray wand to swivel.
