How to Tell the Difference Between a 1255, 150257 and 160657 Cartridge
Preparation:
- The water supply shut off valves must be turned off- see article How To Turn Off The Water Supply To The Faucet.
The 1255, 150257 and 160657 cartridge service kits share the same cartridge, handle screw and hex wrench. The key difference is with the cartridge nuts they use. These cartridge nuts are not interchangeable so it's important to identify which one your faucet uses. |
