Instant Hot SIP Faucet: Handle Assembly

​Preparation:
  • The water supply shut off valves must be turned off- see article How to Turn Off the Water Supply to the Faucet
  • Drain System: Unplug the Tank and drain the water from the faucet by turning the faucet to the "on" position until water stops coming out. 
  • Recommended Tools: Phillip Screw Driver

Reassembly:
  1. There is a small notch on the bottom of the handle cap. Carefully pry off the Handle Cap and O-Ring(A).
     
  2. Remove the Handle Screw (B) with the Phillip Screw Driver
     
  3. Slide off the Handle Knob (C) and the Pin Lock (D).

  1. Slide on the Pin Lock (D) with the cut at the top.
  2. Slide the the Handle Knob (C) on.
  3. Insert the Handle Screw (B) and tighten with the Phillip Screw Driver.  
  4. Snap the Handle Cap and O-ring (A) onto the Handle Knob (C).
  5. Open the cold water supply valve.
  6. Press button and turn the faucet handle forward 90 degrees to start water flow and fill the hot water tank. Note: It may take up to 15 minutes for tank to fill and water to start flowing from faucet.

  7. When water starts flowing from faucet, return the faucet handle to off position to stop water flow. Plug the tank power cord into electrical outlet.
    Note: Do not plug appliance into power supply if tank is empty
