Instant Hot SIP Faucet: 219603 Cartridge Installation

Recommended Tools: Pliers or Channel Locks
Shut off Water Supply and Drain Faucet: The cold water supply shut off valve must be turned off and the water drained from the Faucet
- Water Supply Shut Off: See article How to Turn Off the Water Supply to the Faucet.
- Drain System: To drain the water turn the Handle to the "on" position until water stops coming out.
Handle Removal: The following instructions assume the handle and associated handle pieces have been removed. See Instant Hot SIP Faucet: Handle Assembly

Removing the Cartridge:	Installing the Cartridge:
Using pliers, unthread the Cartridge Retainer Nut (A) counter-clockwise. Remove the Cartridge (B) out of the Faucet Body (C).	You will notice there are two small tabs on the bottom side of the Cartridge (B). Line up the two small tabs to the two round holes in the Valve Body (C) and insert the new Cartridge(B) into the Valve Body (C). Tighten the Cartridge Retainer Nut (A) by hand until tight rotating clockwise, then using pliers, rotate an additional 90° (1/4 turn). Turn the cold water supply shut off valve on. You will notice there are two small tabs on the bottom side of the Cartridge (B). Line up the two small tabs to the two round holes in the Valve Body (C) and insert the new Cartridge(B) into the Valve Body (C).
Tighten the Cartridge Retainer Nut (A) by hand until tight rotating clockwise, then using pliers, rotate an additional 90° (1/4 turn).
Turn the cold water supply shut off valve on.
