Symptom  Possible Cause Recommended Solution
Water does not flow right away or at all Tank pressurization Normal...Due to high temperature and for safety reasons, the tank is not under pressure causing a slight delay in water flow.
Cold water supply valve may not be completely open Make sure the cold water supply valve is completely open
Hoses or tubes may be kink or twisted Check water lines to assure that hoses/tubes are not kinked or twisted
No Flow Tank may not be full  The  tank can take up to 15 minutes to fill and heat the water after initial install or after draining the tank.
Incorrectly operating the handle Press button and turn the faucet handle forward 90 degrees to start water flow.
Water Stops Flowing  May have exceeded approximately 60 cups of water within an hour This product is not intended to produce a continuous flow of hot water. The standard model will produce up to 60 cups of water per hour at approximately 190°F (88°C). Due to high water temperature, for safety reasons, the tank is not under pressure. Consequently, there is a slight delay of water flow after the faucet has been activated. This is normal and indicates that the expansion chamber is functioning properly.
Low Flow Flow Expectation Flow is limited to 0.6 gpm at 60 psi.
Debris or blockage in spout tip  Remove and clean the screen assembly. Spout tip can be unscrewed by turning it counter-clockwise.
Hoses or tubes may be kink or twisted Check water lines to assure that hoses/tubes are not kinked or twisted. See the Diagram above for installation configuration.
