1. Why are users being migrated to a new app?
  • Several years ago, Flo and Moen joined forces. Now that support was built for the Flo devices in the Moen Smart Water Network app, users will be able to control both their Flo and Moen products within a single app.
2. Do I have to complete the migration process from my Flo by Moen account to a Moen Smart Water Network account?
  • Currently, the migration process is optional, however it is highly recommended. In the coming months, the migration process will transition from optional to required.
3. When is the Flo by Moen app being retired completely?
  • While there isn't a specific date defined for when the Flo by Moen app will be removed from the app stores, the intention is for this to occur in 2026.
4. Will all of my current devices still work with the new Moen Smart Water Network app?
  • Yes! All of your existing Flo Shutoff and Flo Leak Detector devices will migrate to the new Moen Smart Water Network app along with all the same functionality users have enjoyed in the Flo by Moen app.
5. What benefits will I get after I complete the migration process?
  • Users will now benefit from having a single app to control their Flo and Moen smart devices, as well as benefit from ongoing development and feature additions within the Moen Smart Water Network app.
6. What if I already have an existing Moen Smart Water Network account?
  • During the migration process, if you are already logged into your existing Moen Smart Water Network account, your Flo account will automatically be migrated to this Moen account. If you are logged out when you begin the migration process, the app will automatically search for and detect any existing Moen accounts that use the same email as your Flo account and allow you to migrate to this existing Moen account.
7. What if I already have multiple existing Moen Smart Water Network accounts?
  • If you already have multiple existing Moen Smart Water Network accounts, you will need to make sure you are logged into the desired Moen account before initiating the migration process. The migration process will automatically migrate to the Moen account that is currently signed in on your mobile device.
8. Will I lose any of my Flo device's data or configurations if I complete the migration?
  • Nope! All of your Flo device's and their historical data and configurations will be carried forward to the new Moen Smart Water Network app.
9. Will I still be able to use the Flo by Moen app after I complete the migration?
  • Once the migration is complete, you will need to use the Moen Smart Water Network app moving forward.
10. How long will the migration process take?
  • For most users, the migration process will only take a couple of minutes. For users with a large number of Flo devices, the process may take longer in order to process the migration of all the devices and their associated data.
11. Will my FloProtect subscription still remain active after I complete the migration?
  • Yes! Your FloProtect subscription will still remain active and can be managed via the http://User.MeetFlo.com portal and you will continue to use you Flo login credentials to access the portal. 
12. Will I still have access to http://User.MeetFlo.com after I complete the migration?
  • Yes! You will still be able to use the http://User.MeetFlo.com portal to manage your devices as well as your FloProtect subscription. You will use your Flo login credentials to access the portal.
