How to Enable, Update, and Cancel FloProtect

The FloProtect Plan is an additional layer of protection for Flo Smart Water Monitor and Shutoff users. For $5 per month, those with this optional protection plan gain access to a five-year extended warranty and a water damage deductible guarantee. If you experience water damage in your home, we’ll cover up to $5,000 of your home’s insurance deductible. This article walks you step by step on how to add coverage, update your credit card information, and cancel your FloProtect subscription.

Enable FloProtect in user.meetflo.com 

The following instructions are for enabling FloProtect Plan. 

Please note, in the event you sign up for FloProtect after the Standard 1-year Warranty Period, you will not be eligible to receive the Extended Product Warranty benefit of the FloProtect Plan. 

  1. Log into user.meetflo.com with your Flo by Moen account email and password. 
     
  2. Confirm the location you would like to enable FloProtect for is selected. You can find this at the top of the home page. If you have multiple locations, click the drop-down to select the location you would like to add FloProtect to.

  3. After you select the location, at the top of the page, click on FloProtect Plan and then click on Manage Your Plan

  4. Click on Activate FloProtect Plan.

  5. Fill out the requested fields and then click on Add FloProtect to enable your subscription.

 

Update FloProtect Payment 

The following instructions are for updating the credit card information linked to your FloProtect subscription. 

  1. Log into user.meetflo.com with your Flo by Moen account email and password. 
     
  2. Confirm the location you would like to update FloProtect for is selected. You can find this at the top of the home page. If you have multiple locations, click the drop-down to select the location you would like to update FloProtect for.

  3. At the top of the page, click on FloProtect Plan and then click on Change Payment Method

  4. Fill out the requested fields with your new credit card information and then click on Update.

Cancel FloProtect in user.meetflo.com 

The following instructions are for cancelling your FloProtect Subscription.  

Please note, the 5-year extended warranty requires a continuous ongoing FloProtect subscription. if you downgrade and cancel your FloProtect Plan, you will not continue to receive an extended warranty even if you re-enable FloProtect. 

  1. Log into user.meetflo.com with your Flo by Moen account email and password. 
  2. Confirm the location you would like to cancel FloProtect for is selected. You can find this at the top of the home page. If you have multiple locations, click the drop-down to select the location you would like to remove FloProtect for.

  3. After you select the location, at the top of the page, click on FloProtect Plan and then click on Manage Your Plan

  4. Click on Downgrade to cancel your FloProtect Subscription.
