Having issues connecting your device to your homes WIFI network?

If you are unable to connect to your home Wi-Fi network during the install of Moen Smart Leak Detector, first make sure that you are connected to your Wi-Fi network.  If you are not connected, please contact your Internet provider to assist in correcting the issue. clipboard_e75bb1c2b20745735116dc7c5c9106c12.png
If your Wi-Fi network is working properly and you are able to connect to other smart devices within your home network, make sure your smart phone is using the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band during installation as the Moen Smart Leak Detector will not function on the 5GHz Wi-Fi band.  For assistance with figuring out your Wi-Fi band, please contact your Internet provider. Network name (SSID) can be hidden or visible. If yours is hidden you must know the exact name of your network.
If your Wi-Fi is working properly and you are using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network band, close out of the Moen Smart Water Network application and retry the install again.  NOTE: You may have to reset the Moen Smart Leak Detector to the default factory settings before you can try the install again.
