Terms and Conditions (FloProtect) 

 Flo Technologies, Inc., and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “Flo” or the “Company”) is pleased to offer users who have purchased a Product directly from Flo, or have had a Product installed at their residence or property, the ability to obtain advanced features in connection with the usage of such Product, as well as additional protections for the Product from the Company, via an elective subscription (“FloProtect” or “FP”).  The following FP Terms and Conditions incorporate the other online policies of Flo, available at www.meetflo.com/termsofservice.  Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings set forth in those policies. 

FloProtect Extended Product Warranty Conditions of Receipt. FloProtect enables users to receive an extended limited warranty for up to a total period of of five (5) years from the date their Product was installed and activated (the “Extended Warranty Period”), provided the user has:

  1. Activated a FP subscription prior to the one-year anniversary date of the date the Product was delivered (such period, the “Standard Warranty Period”); and  
  2. Such user maintains an FP subscription in good standing throughout the Extended Warranty Period, i.e. there are no lapses in user’s timely payment for such subscription.

For clarity, in the event you sign up for FloProtect after the Standard Warranty Period, you will not be eligible to receive the Extended Product Warranty benefit of FP, other than through an Authorized Re-Certification Process; the other FP Features remain available so long as the Product is fully operational.

FP Features.  Users can voluntarily elect to activate a FP subscription by purchasing such subscription from their user portal by logging into https://user.meetflo.com/login.  For a monthly fee, users will receive additional features and benefits beyond the standard services included with the Product.  A comparison of the premium FP subscription services to the basic included services is available here: www.meetflo.com/FloProtect.  FP features and benefits include:

∙ Extended Limited Warranty.  Subsequent to the delivery of a Product, all users receive a limited warranty for the Standard Warranty Period, as detailed at www.meetflo.com/limitedwarranty.  An FP continuous ongoing subscription extends this coverage for up to a total period of of five (5) years.

∙ Water Damage Guarantee.  Pursuant to Flo’s Deductible Reimbursement Program (www.meetflo.com/deductiblereimbursement), the Company will provide reimbursement of your homeowners insurance deductible up to five thousand dollars ($5,000.00)  in the event of catastrophic water damage to your home.

∙ Live Smart Water Assistant.  Flo’s team of experts proactively monitor your home and help find solutions for you when they detect a problem. Upon request, the team will also attempt to answer questions about unrelated home plumbing issues. The Company provides no guarantee or warranty with respect to such advice.            

Subscription Billing.  The monthly fees paid for FP subscriptions are non-refundable, regardless of whether the subscription is terminated prior to the end of the then-current billing period.  

It is the user’s responsibility to promptly provide the Company with any contact or billing information changes or updates (including phone number, email address, physical address, credit card numbers, etc.); changes should be sent to support@meetflo.com. Most account updates may be made online via the “My Account” section, once user has logged into the Service.  Flo does not validate all credit card information required by the Member’s payment provider to secure payment.

Subscriptions will automatically renew monthly using the user's current credit card account number unless user cancels their subscription by emailing support@meetflo.com at least two (2) business days prior to the renewal date to cancel such subscription.  If you have a question about a cancelation, you should contact Flo at support@meetflo.com. The Company reserves the right to change its fees or billing methods at any time. The Company will provide timely notice to the affected users of any such changes.

The user must notify Flo about any billing problems or discrepancies within 30 days after charges first appear on their Account statement. If it is not brought to Flo’s attention within 30 days, user agrees to waive their right to dispute such problems or discrepancies.

Subscription Re-Authorization

Authorized Re-Certification Process.  In the event you cancel your FP subscription due to a defective Product, and you subsequently replace such Product with a Company-certified replacement Product (a “Certified Replacement”), the Company will enable you to re-start your subscription from the date of the Certified Replacement installation for up to the remainder of the time period your previously active subscription would have endured, without any re-activation fees.
