100000 and 101879 Spout O-Ring

A step-by-step instruction guide to replacing the spout o-ring kit.

Preparation: The water supply shut off valves must be turned off- see article How to Turn Off the Water Supply to the Faucet.

1. Unscrew spout nut (#2) counter-clockwise.  1111111111111111111111111111111111

2. Pull spout assembly (#1) off of the valve body (#5). Remove black rubber O-ring (#4) and white nylon split washer (#3).

3. Lubricate the black rubber O-ring  (#4) with the silicone provided P/N:99915.

4. Place the white nylon split washer (#3) in upper channel and the O-ring (#4) in the lower channel. 11

5. Insert the spout (#1) and push firmly until white nylon split washer (#3) hits against brass valve body (#5).

6. Tighten the spout nut (#2) clockwise until tight.   11111111111111111111111111
