1269 Cartridge: Single Handle Bathroom Faucets

1. Using the Installation Tool (see image above) that was included with Cartridge Kit or a 25 mm socket wrench, unthread the recessed black Cartridge Nut (A), counterclockwise, remove and discard it. 
2. Lift out the Cartridge (B) from the Faucet Body (C). 

Note: It is recommended to clean and flush the valve body prior to installing the new cartridge. See article Valve Body Cleaning and Flushing for additional details

1. Line the two small Feet (D) on the bottom of the Cartridge (B)  with the two round openings at the bottom of the Faucet Body (C) and insert the Cartridge (B).
2. Firmly thread on the new Cartridge Nut (A) clockwise with the Installation Tool that was included with Cartridge Kit or a 25 mm socket wrench.
