There are multiple handle mechanisms used on Roman Tub faucets. Confirming which one you are working with will require removing the handle and identifying your handle mechanism. For disassembly, follow the number of the parts in order starting with the white plastic cap (#1). Note: Escutcheon Adjuster (#5) does not need to be removed unless it is damaged. This part can be threaded higher or lower in the valve body to accommodate the handle kit.

For re-assembly, follow the number of the parts in reverse order starting with the stem extension (#4). If needed, this stem extension (#4) can be trimmed.
