There are 3 reasons that a network would not appear in the list:
- The router is not broadcasting 2.4 Ghz.
- The router is configured to be ‘hidden’, which means it will not show up in any access point list and always needs to be manually entered.
- The controller is not getting a strong enough signal from the router to show up in the list (due to bathroom materials, distance, etc). In these cases, we recommend using a repeater/extender to boost the signal range.

- U by Moen Smart Shower leverages DHCP addressing, and is a requirement for connectivity. DHCP can be set up in conjunction with static IP addressing on a given network.
