This kitchen faucet compatibility guide will help you choose the perfect Moen faucet for your sink configuration. You may need to go underneath the sink or remove the old faucet to see exactly how many holes your current sink has. If you have more holes in the sink than you would like to use, you can always use a sink hole cover (Moen part number 22897).
If your sink has a single hole in it, you can use any kitchen faucet that is designed for a single hole mount. Some faucets come with an escutcheon (base) plate however they are not all required to be installed with the faucet. For this configuration, you will want a faucet that does not require an escutcheon plate. It depends on the faucet model so it is always best to check the specification sheet on whether or not it can be installed without the escutcheon plate.
