Instant Hot Tank: How to Install the Hoses and Tubes

Please keep in mind, when installing these tubes, you want them to be free of kinks and from being twisted.
- Remove protective cap from tank

- Install Quick Connect to tank.
|
- Install Smaller Diameter blue Cold Water Outlet Tube from faucet to quick connect.

- Install Barb fitting to tank:
- Slide the Nut (B) with the threaded open end on Tank Tube.
- Put Ferrule (A) inside of nut with smaller tapered end up.
- To thread Barb Fitting into nut, hold Nut with pliers, tighten and secure Barb Fitting with other wrench. (1a)

- Attach the larger diameter clear Hot Water Inlet Tube (D) from the faucet to the barb fitting (push down as far as can go).

Sip Faucet Cold Water Supply Inlet and Cold Water Tee:
|
- Turn off Cold Water Angle Valve. Allow sufficient time until kitchen faucet has drained any remaining water.
|
- Use a wrench to untighten kitchen faucet cold water supply line from Cold Water Angle Valve.
|
- Disconnect cold water supply line from valve.
|
- Connect Cold Water Tee to the Cold Water Angle Valve.
|
- Tighten and secure with a wrench
|
- Connect kitchen faucet cold water supply line to the Cold Water Tee. Tighten and secure with a wrench.
|
- Connect the Cold Water Inlet Line to the Cold Water Tee . Ensure supply lines are not kinked or twisted
|
- Open the cold water supply valve. Press button and turn the faucet handle forward 90 degrees to start water flow and fill the hot water tank.
Note: It may take up to 15 minutes for tank to fill and water to start flowing from faucet.

- When water starts flowing from faucet, return the faucet handle to off position to stop water flow. Plug the tank power cord into electrical outlet.
Note: Do not plug appliance into power supply if tank is empty.
