Moen makes two basic versions of quick connects. One type is black with a white button(s) (Version 1) and the other is white with a black button(s) (Version 2). Version 1 and Version 2 are interchangeable. The specific style, length and number of buttons on the quick connect will vary by product design.

Squeeze the white tabs (B) together and push the tabs in. This will cause the white tabs (B) to push back into the quick connect releasing the white button.

Insert the faucet part into the end (A) of the quick connect. Press the white button (A) in to lock the faucet part in. Gently tug on the quick connect to verify it is secure.

Press and hold the black button (B)  while pulling the faucet part out of the quick connect.

Slide the end of the quick connect (A) on to the faucet or part. There will be an audible click to let you know the faucet part is secure. To test this, gently tug on the quick connect.
