Shower Faucet: Flow Issues- 1/2" Exact Temp Valve

This article is designed to troubleshoot flow issues with the 3301 and 3321 1/2" Exact Temp valve. The valve was introduced in 2000 and retired in 2006.
Symptom Solution
Low Flow

1. Clean the filter screens, see article 1/2" Exact Temp Valve Filter Screen Cleaning

2. Install new check stop valves, see article 103686 Check Stop Replacement

3. Replace the 103674 thermostatic cartridge, see article 103674 Cartridge: 1/2" Exact Temp Valve
No Flow- New Installation

New Installation

1. Clean the filter screens, see article 1/2" Exact Temp Valve Filter Screen Cleaning

Existing Installation

1. Clean the filter screens, see article 11/2" Exact Temp Valve Filter Screen Cleaning

2. Replace the 103674 thermostatic cartridge, see article 103674 Cartridge: 1/2" Exact Temp Valve
