How do I transfer Flo Shutoff to a new homeowner?
If you are selling a home where your Flo Smart Water Monitor & Shutoff is installed and you are leaving the device for the new homeowner, you would need to remove the device from your Flo by Moen app or Moen Smart Water app and factory reset the Flo Shutoff before the new owner moves in. This will allow the new owners to set up the Flo Smart Water Monitor & Shutoff with their own account and place the device back into learning. If you have a FloProtect Plan enabled for the device you are leaving for the new homeowner, you will also need to cancel the FloProtect subscription so you do not continue to be charged a monthly fee.
