Not seeing your home Wi-Fi when setting up for the first time?
This article contains information relevant to the Moen Flo App, which was formerly known as the Moen Smart Water Network app, Moen Smart Water app, Moen app, and Flo by Moen app.
If you are unable to connect to your home Wi-Fi network during the install of Moen's Smart Sprinkler Controller, first make sure that you are connected to your Wi-Fi network. If you are not connected, please contact your Internet provider to assist in correcting the issue.
If your Wi-Fi network is working properly and you are able to connect to other smart devices within your home network, make sure your smart phone is using the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band during installation as the Smart Sprinkler Controller will not function on the 5GHz Wi-Fi band. For assistance with figuring out your Wi-Fi band, please contact your Internet provider.
If your Wi-Fi is working properly and you are using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network band, close out of the Moen Flo application and retry the install again. NOTE: You may have to reset the Smart Sprinkler Controller to the default factory settings before you can try the install again.
