Not seeing your home Wi-Fi when setting up for the first time?

If you are unable to connect to your home Wi-Fi network during the install of Moen's Smart Sprinkler Controller, first make sure that you are connected to your Wi-Fi network.  If you are not connected, please contact your Internet provider to assist in correcting the issue.


If your Wi-Fi network is working properly and you are able to connect to other smart devices within your home network, make sure your smart phone is using the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band during installation as the Smart Sprinkler Controller will not function on the 5GHz Wi-Fi band.  For assistance with figuring out your Wi-Fi band, please contact your Internet provider.


If your Wi-Fi is working properly and you are using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network band, close out of the Moen Smart Water Network application and retry the install again.  NOTE: You may have to reset the Smart Sprinkler Controller to the default factory settings before you can try the install again.
