Zone Name

Selecting Zone Name after selecting a zone will allow you to change the name of your zone to make it easier for you to identify your zones. “Faucet,” “Spigot,” and “Zone” cannot be used due to voice assistants misunderstanding commands, but you can use these names followed by a name or number. For example, “Spigot 1” or “Zone 2”. The zone name also cannot be blank or have special characters.

For easy identification you can also edit the picture for your zone by tapping on the picture and taking a photo or selecting a photo from your library.

Zone Details

Zone Details allow you to provide more information for your zone such as the zone type, exposure, soil type, slope, and head type. Within these details you can also adjust Advanced Details which allows for accurate watering for Smart Watering, usage, and other features.

If you have Smart Watering enabled for a schedule, the schedule will automatically adjust based on weather and soil conditions you have selected in Zone Details. Make sure your Zone Details are accurate to ensure accurate watering. You can find more information regarding Smart Watering at https://solutions.moen.com/Smart_Sprinkler/Tips/What_Is_Smart_Watering_and_how_does_it_work%3F.

If you have Cycle/Soak enabled for your schedule, all zones will break total watering into intervals and soak before continued watering. You can adjust the Cycle and Soak values under Soil Type. This will allow you to adjust how long you would like the cycle and soak to run. Changing the Soil Type (clay, clay loam, etc.) will automatically adjust the cycle and soak values, but you can also adjust these manually under Advanced Details.

Wireless Soil Sensor

You can pair a Wireless Soil Sensor directly under the zone or add a Wireless Soil Sensor already paired. On the Zones tab, tap on the zone you would like to add a Wireless Soil Sensor to and then tap on the Wireless Soil Sensor you have already paired or tap on + Add Wireless Soil Sensor. If you are adding a Wireless Soil Sensor that has not yet been paired, follow the directions in the app to pair your sensor.
