Cartridge Replacement: 252005 Free Standing

Parts Legend:

A-Cartridge Nut

B-Cartridge

C-Valve Body

 

Disassembly:

  1. Using pliers, unthread and remove the brass cartridge nut (A).
  2. To remove, pull on the cartridge stem (B), 

It is recommended to clean and flush the valve body (C) prior to installing the new cartridge (B). See article Valve Body Cleaning and Flushing for additional details

Assembly:

  1. Align the two posts on the cartridge (B) to the mating feature on the valve body (C) and push the cartridge (B) into the valve body (C) until it stops. 

  1. Using pliers, thread the brass cartridge nut (A) back in.
