How to Identify a Widespread Valve

This guide will detail how to identify the Moen Widespread rough-in valve installed in your home. This information is important when determining hose replacement and new trim compatibility. Moen has produced multiple generations of these 8" widespread systems, each having uniquely identifiable features. The details below will help you sort through the difference to make an accurate identification. For this type of faucet system, the visible differences are located below the sink under the faucet. If the problem you are experiencing is not related to an under-deck hose issue or involves shopping for new exterior trim, please return to the main guide for additional product information.
