Kitchen Handle: Direct Connect 4000

Moen produces a variety of Single Handle faucets. The interior components and assembly are not the same for each model. This article will explain one of the newer handle assembly referred to as a Direct Connect 4000. This handle mechanism was introduced in 2005 and is very similar to the Direct Connect 1255. The characteristics of the mechanism include a handle rotation range of 110 degrees and an opening on the back of the handle for the set screw. This faucet style utilizes a 4000 cartridge.
