Kitchen Handle 2H: Knob-Flat Cap (Prior to Late 2019)

Moen produces a variety of two handle kitchen faucets. The interior components and assembly are not the same for each model. This article will explain the Flat Cap knob handle assembly. A characteristic of this mechanism is a large round cap on the top of the handle. When the cap is removed a Phillipls head screw is visible. This faucet style utilizes a 1224 cartridge.
