Cartridge Replacement: 184607 One Handle Deck Mount Tub Filler

Parts Legend:


A-Cartridge Nut

B-Cartridge

C-Valve Body

Disassembly:

  1. Using pliers, unthread and remove the brass hexagonal cartridge nut (A).
  2. To remove the cartridge (B), pull up on the white stem.

It is recommended to clean and flush the valve body (C) prior to installing the new cartridge (B). See article Valve Body Cleaning and Flushing for additional details

Assembly:

  1. Align the two posts on the cartridge (B) to the mating feature on the valve body (C) and push the cartridge (B) into the valve body (C) until it stops.

  1. Using pliers, thread the brass hexagonal cartridge nut (A) back in.
